Lexus rx300 driver door wont lock.

2002 lexus rx 300 awd. The manual swith works everytime and the remote works when inside the car. Used to work normally just recently stopped. Very very common on the rx.

The other three doors work perfectly. The atuator is part of the latch assembly and contains the lock position sensors as well. I have a lexus rx300 2001. 2002 lexus rx 300 awd the door lock acuator on the drivers side door does not unlock with the remote outside of the car.

1 the lock issue not a big deal the power lock actuator in the driver door is worn out. It is a 2001 lexus rx300. All the problems you have with locking unlocking and alarm are directly related to this. Also surprisingly the car does unlock using the key remote so the actuator is not completely shot.

The driver door lock actuator doesn t work to lock the car via the key remote.
